Our menu of workshops caters for creative learning throughout all Key Stages using Drama, Music, Dance, Fitness and Play.
Our professional and experienced facilitators guide pupils through participatory workshops over the course of a single day. Most of our workshops conclude with an end of day performance that the pupils share with an audience of peers and parents. Some projects are designed for a class of 30 for the full day, others are designed so that we can work with up to 120 pupils in the one day. We have a wide range of projects to offer, which link well with individual class topic learning, whole school topics and special focus weeks.
Experience
One Day incorporated in August 2013 and was shortlisted for ‘Start Up Business of the Year’ 2014.
We’ve worked with hundreds of schools across the UK; our most popular workshops to date have been on E-Safety & Cyber-Bullying, Brazil, the Stone Age, the Rainforest and Bullying.
In addition to working with schools, we also work with a number of Local Authorities and organisations that fund workshops for schools in their local area. These tend to be on road safety, the environment and E-Safety.
Testimonials
“The Victorian One Day Drama project inspired and engaged my class throughout the day. As well as learning a lot about the era in a fun and creative way, the children were able to learn lots of other valuable life skills along the way! Their excellent facilitator really helped to make learning fun. A fantastic day was had by all and we are all looking forward to the next opportunity to invite One Day back to our school.”

“The two Brazilian dance and music days you organised for our children were superb! Possibly, two of the best in-house experiences we’ve had to date. Both directors were well organised, flexible and made sure all of our children got something from the sessions. Each came with appropriate resources and equipment and arrived in plenty of time to discuss our needs. The days provided good value for money and we’ve some excellent videos and photographs as souvenirs and every child that took part was buzzing! We will definitely be recommending you to other schools.”

“I can’t speak highly enough of the day’s experience. Every child who took part loved every minute of it and it was brilliant to watch them grow in confidence as the day progressed. Your Director was fantastic. She dealt with all of the kids with great confidence and skilfully included a number of children from our specialist Language & Communication Resource. Her enthusiasm for the workshop was completely infectious and the kids were totally hooked from early on. The final performance was really impressive and I think I can safely say that I’m not the only person in the room who shed a wee tear. I have already recommended your company to other local schools and I really can’t speak highly enough of Shona your Director. We look forward to working One Day Creative again in the future!”
